Birmingham City University's Nursing course now open to international students

26 February 2020

Birmingham City University's BSc (Hons) Nursing courses are now open to international students for the forthcoming September 2020 and January 2021 intakes.

The fields of nursing available are:

  • Adult Nursing
  • Learning Disability Nursing (September intake only)
  • Mental Health Nursing

The course sare integrated for the first two years, allowing you to learn about the four fields of nursing, while your final year of study will be focused on your chosen field. This new approach will give you additional knowledge, skills and understanding of the challenges faced by people at different stages of their life, and how conditions such as learning disabilities and mental health issues can impact on individual care needs.

International applicants must attain 120 UCAS points (3 A-levels at BBB or its equivalent), whilst an IELTS score of 6.5 is required (no banding below 6) or its equivalant. Conditional offered candidates will be required to participate in an interview, as part of the application process.
